Their site has so much to offer, whether you’re looking to buy, rent, invest, or just learn about the real estate market and Portuguese culture. They keep their listings current, unlike many of their competitors, and aim to help find you the perfect property.
Idealista
If you ask anyone where to find the best Portuguese properties, you’ll likely hear the name of a site/app called Idealista. Some say it can be a bit overpriced (geared toward foreigners) compared to other sites, but it is very comprehensive and easy to use. It’s also in English, which helps if you’re not up to snuff on your Portuguese yet.
Kyero
From what I’ve seen—and I’ve scoured for hours across most of these platforms—Kyero seems to have high-quality properties for sale and rent. There isn’t a “furnished” filter, although there are some furnished properties in the mix. The prices seem a bit high here, similar to Idealista.
Imovirtual
Another popular search platform that seems to have prices more true to the market. Fun fact, the mobile app is only in Portuguese—great for practicing—but the website is also in English.

Uniplaces
This site has a mix of high- and low-end offerings as well as rooms and whole flats and houses. Catering to students, digital nomads, and short-term renters, they have a wide range of options. Landlords and properties are pre-vetted and Uniplaces facilitates communication directly.

Flatio
This is a great option if you’re looking to satisfy the 6-month lease visa requirement and need something furnished. It’s all online, easy to use, and a recent post on AFIP had these positive things to say:
Cancel for any reason with a 30-day notice. So, if you find a long-term place in the meantime, you’re never on the hook for rent of more than 30 days.
Pay no security deposit, with a rental of fewer than 180 days.
Apply to multiple properties at the same time. As soon as one accepts, the other inquiries automatically cancel.
Enter billing info after a request has been accepted.
Put two names on the lease by entering the first person’s first and last name in the “first name” field, and the second person’s first and last name is the “last name” field. Add “and” after first name and it comes out perfectly on the final document.
Preview the final lease before completing the transaction. Afterward, receive a PDF to print out.
Spotahome
Similar to Flatio, this search platform offers online service, easy leases, and sends representatives to the properties to be “Checked” for accuracy. Regional to the greater Lisbon area and Porto only.
